Why Lindale and Tyler patients come to Physio+
Most East Texas patients find the traditional healthcare path frustrating. A 10 minute primary care visit, a referral, a 15 minute PT appointment with a tech running four patients at once, and six weeks of cookie cutter exercises is common. We built Physio+ to be the opposite. Doctor of Physical Therapy evaluations are 90 minutes. Follow ups are one on one. The plan is written, progressive, and measurable. Most patients discharge inside six to ten weeks.
The model is simple to describe and rare to find. one doctor of physical therapy, one patient, one full hour, every visit. No techs, no aides, no double booking. That format is why the plans are shorter. when every minute of the visit is skilled care, six weeks does what twelve weeks of lightly supervised exercise elsewhere often does not.

Auto accident recovery
Wrecks on Highway 69, Interstate 20, and the local Lindale and Tyler roads send us a steady stream of whiplash, low back injuries, and soft tissue trauma. The most common post accident patterns we treat are neck pain and stiffness from whiplash, headaches that start at the base of the skull, low back and mid back pain, and shoulder injuries from the seat belt or steering wheel. Two things matter with accident injuries. First, symptoms are often delayed. neck stiffness, headaches, and back pain regularly surface days after the adrenaline clears, so get evaluated even if you walked away feeling fine. Vehicle damage does not predict tissue damage, so do not let a clean bumper talk you out of an evaluation. Second, documentation matters. We evaluate objectively, document your injuries and progress thoroughly, and coordinate with your insurance so the care you need is on the record from day one. Because Texas is a direct access state, you can start physical therapy promptly instead of waiting weeks for a referral while the injury pattern sets in.
Recovery goals worth writing down
Rehab sticks when it points at something real. We build plans around East Texas life, not abstract range of motion numbers.
- Hike the trails at Lake Tyler without the knee swelling that night.
- Walk 18 holes at the Lindale courses instead of riding every hole.
- Hunt, fish, and work outside in the Piney Woods through a full season.
- Get on the floor with grandkids, and back up, without planning the maneuver.
- Return to the deer lease, the garden, or the gym without negotiating with your back first.
Bring your version to the evaluation. The plan gets measured against it, week by week, and discharge means you are doing the thing, not just scoring better on a clinic test.

Where patients drive from
Our clinics sit in Lindale and Tyler, and the patient base spans East Texas. We regularly see patients from Hideaway, Garden Valley, Mineola, Winona, Van, Big Sandy, Flint, and the surrounding Smith County communities. Most of those drives are under 30 minutes. If you are weighing the trip, weigh it against the format. 20 minutes of driving for a full hour of one on one doctor level care is a better trade than 5 minutes of driving for 15 supervised minutes. For ongoing care between visits, Physio+ Anywhere will close the distance when it launches.

Insurance and cost
We accept most major plans at all locations. Call 903.492.5215 or text 844.909.7788 with your card for a benefits check. The $99 diagnostic audit is the universal entry point and is credited back toward your first plan of care when insurance covers the follow ups. If you were in an auto accident, bring your claim information and we will handle the documentation side with your adjuster.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a referral?
Texas is a direct access state. You can see a PT for up to 30 days of care without a physician referral (Texas HB 4099).
What is the $99 audit?
A 90 minute diagnostic evaluation with a DPT. Full screen, diagnosis, written plan, first treatment. Credited toward your first plan of care.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Your insurance card, a photo ID, and a list of current medications. Wear comfortable clothing that lets us access the area we are treating (shorts for a knee, a tank top for a shoulder). If you have imaging reports or surgical notes, bring those too. No physician referral is needed to start.
Which location should I pick?
The one nearest your home or work. All three carry the same services and DPT team.
Do you see kids?
We see middle school and older athletes. Younger pediatric cases are referred.
Can I combine services?
Yes. Most plans include several services inside a single visit.
