Desk is not a generic telehealth app. It is the Physio+ clinical team, for remote workers.

Most telehealth PT apps route you to whichever provider picks up first. Maybe licensed. Maybe not a specialist. Usually reading from a script. No continuity.

Desk routes you to one of three providers. Every one of them is a doctor of physical therapy with a rare credential on top. Logan Merritt holds the NCS, a board specialty held by under three percent of US PTs. Tim Hu holds the OCS. Cameron Berry holds the CSCS.

The provider reading your workstation photo has seen your exact pain pattern hundreds of times and can tell you in the first paragraph whether it is your setup, whether it is serious, and what the fastest fix is.

The credentials
Logan Merritt

Tim Hu

Common questions, answered by a human.

Q01
Is this physical therapy?
No. Desk is ergonomic coaching, movement education, and general wellness guidance delivered remotely. Real physical therapy involves hands on treatment and is regulated at the state level. For hands on care, you will be referred to an in person provider. The Coach tier at one forty nine includes live private video sessions in states where the provider holds a license or PT Compact privilege.
Q02
Can I use this if I live outside Texas?
Yes. Desk is available nationwide as coaching and education. It does not require a state PT license. Coach with live video sessions is currently available in Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Washington, North Carolina, and Tennessee, with more states added quarterly as PT Compact privileges are unlocked.
Q03
Does insurance cover this?
No. Direct pay subscription. No insurance billing, no prior authorization, no referral required. For most members, forty nine a month is less than one copay on a traditional PT visit.
Q04
What if my pain is actually serious?
Every written review includes a red flag screen. If your pain pattern suggests something that needs in person evaluation, urgent care, or emergency attention, you will be told directly in the first response with specific guidance on what to do next.
Q05
Can I cancel?
Yes. Month to month. Cancel from the member portal in under sixty seconds. No contracts, no fees. Annual plans available at a discount for members ready to commit to twelve months.
Q06
Who actually answers my questions?
One of three licensed doctors of physical therapy on the Physio+ team. Logan Merritt (NCS), Tim Hu (OCS), or Cameron Berry (CSCS). Never a chatbot. Never a support agent. Never a technician.

Hands down the best therapy and experience you will find here in east Texas. Excellent client relationship and they made therapy fun actually. I am a client for life now and I entrust them even with my kids and family.

Logan and Tim are both very knowledgeable, and are attentive to your body's actual needs. They don't keep you there just for your money. They gave me the exercises I needed in two sessions, and let me go when they definitely could have kept charging me. They are very willing to help and diagnose you. Cannot recommend them enough.

I highly recommend Tim Hu for PT. Having consulted with various chiropractors over several months for sciatic issues, I am pleased to report significant improvement under his guidance. Within five weeks of adhering to his structured approach, I experienced a considerable realignment and a 90% reduction in discomfort.
